Reading: Triangle: The Fire That Changed America

I’m about 1/3 of the way through Triangle: The Fire That Changed America by David Von Drehle, a book about the 1911 Triangle Waist Company fire in New York City, I’ll be doing an oral presentation on the book later this semester.  The fire was a horrid disaster that resulted in 146 deaths; it was one of the worst industrial disasters in the US, and one of New York’s worst accidents. The 100th anniversary was in March, and I’m sure I’ll be posting more about the book and the event as I continue my research.
